Byron Catroppa – Boys Lacrosse Head Coach

St. Paul Catholic High School is excited to welcome Byron Catroppa as our new boys’ varsity lacrosse coach.  Coach Catroppa’s background involves time served as a player and coach at all levels of the game; he played at the University of Central Florida, was a member of Team Italy for the 2018 World Games, served as the head coach at Father Lopez Catholic HS in Florida from 2017-2020, was an assistant coach at Post University from 2020-2022 and served as the head assistant at South Windsor High School for the 2022 season.  He is not only excited to be part of the current success of the program but is motivated to help develop our student athletes and guide the falcon lacrosse team to the next level.

 

 


Tyler Zgmunt – Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach

St. Paul is also excited to welcome Tyler Zygmunt as one of our new assistant lacrosse coaches for the boy’s program.  Tyler attended Southington High School and has been actively involved in youth lacrosse since 2016, starting out with the Vernon Lacrosse Association before joining the Southington Lacrosse Association in 2020.  Tyler carries a USA Lacrosse Men’s Level 1 Certification and still participates in the game he loves as a goalie for Revolution of the CT Box Lacrosse League.


 

Cassandra Cyr – Girls Lacrosse Head Coach

St. Paul Catholic High School is pleased to welcome Cassandra Cyr as our new head varsity lacrosse coach.  Cassandra began her lacrosse career in Bristol as a member of the Bristol Central lacrosse program and also participated as a player at the University of New Haven.  Her coaching background includes supporting the Bristol Soccer Club as well as coaching various levels throughout the Bristol Youth Lacrosse Program over the past four years.  Her leadership and passion for the game of lacrosse will be great assets to the St. Paul lacrosse program.
