One part of the St. Paul application process is for each student to take the Placement Exam. This exam is NOT an entrance exam. The exam is a standardized test that evaluates a student’s performance levels in both basic skills and cognitive areas. The basic skills are math, reading, and language.

Today St. Paul Student Advisory Leaders heard from Dr. Thomas Van Hoof, a 1984 St. Paul graduate and professor at the University of CT.
Students were educated on the science of learning. This is to help prepare them to lead their advisory throughout the school year. They learned different techniques to engage their peers and how to continue lessons discussing their summer learning experience which was reading the book Make Your Bed by Admiral William H. McRaven. #noshortcuts #dothelittlethings

✨ Only a few spots remain for this Saturday’s Placement Exam at St. Paul!
Take the exam this Saturday or in November to be considered for merit-based scholarships — one of the many ways we make a St. Paul education affordable for families.
While your child is testing, join our Informational Session with school administrators to learn more about:
* Our strong academic programs and faith-based community
* Tuition assistance and financial aid options
* The simple admissions process that helps make applying to St. Paul easier than you might think
At St. Paul, we believe every student who wants to be here should have the opportunity — and we’re here to help make that possible. 💙❤️

Last week our Junior class attended retreat. The girls visited the Wisdom House in Litchfield and Sister Colleen Mattingly, ASCJ presented the retreat with teachings on Vocations and being a beloved daughter of the Father.
The boys visited Lourdes in Litchfield - their activity was to get through a "Human Obstacle Course".
A great way to spend the day together and be present.
