The girls’ basketball team broke Holy Cross’ 57-game win streak last night.  The Lady Falcons were down at the half and at the end of the third quarter, but great ball movement, made foul shots, a fearlessness when driving the lane, and tenacity on the boards allowed then to chip away at the lead and eventually win. It was a full team effort.
In Waterbury, the boys’ team played a great game. In the end we lost, but they played well and kept it close (ten point loss) with one of the best teams in the league.
Boys’ swim and dive had an easy win over Lewis Mills’ team. Everyone, including our newest Falcon Oliver, contributed to the point total.
The wrestling team continues to build momentum. They had their first team win last week at Northwestern, and they’re on the road tonight at Gilbert.
