October 26, 2020 – A beautiful tradition as we induct our National Honor Society members. Although the ceremony should have taken place last April, our students are strong and resilient – they waited until last night to receive the honor of being inducted into this special society!

On October 10, St. Paul Catholic High School National Honors Society was presented the Special Service Award by the Bristol Boys and Girls Club. For the past 12 years, society members have provided tutoring at the Bristol Boys & Girls Club’s Power Hour program at Cambridge Park.The Special Service Award is given each year to an organization which provides significant resources intended to enhance the lives of others in the Greater Bristol Community. #bristolct #BristolAllHeart #spchsfalcons #NHS #bbgcCommunity

National Honor Society: The St. John XXIII Chapter of the National Honor Society operates under the National Constitution established by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Within the National Constitution, St. Paul has considerable latitude to make of the organization what it chooses through the Chapter Bylaws. Induction into the National Honor Society is a great honor for our highest-achieving students, but it is not just a club for them. St. Paul requires members to be exemplary of all the qualities that characterize the National Honor Society: scholarship, service, leadership, and character, and to live the National Honor Society motto, “Noblesse oblige.” The National Honor Society is a very important service organization at St. Paul Catholic High School, as it provides service within the school and to the community at large. In fact, the greatest service which members provide to the school is the example they set for other students every day in classes and in all aspects of the school community. The process by which students are selected for induction is described in the Student Handbook. Meetings of the National Honor Society are usually after school on the first Wednesday of the month in the auditorium.
