MONDAY EVENING NEWS

“I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

                                                                                (Mt 28:20)

Peace & Greetings,

Trust you and your family are well this Memorial Day weekend. As the calendar turns to June tomorrow (although the last few days have felt more like late October), we are now in the homestretch of this academic year. While time is dwindling, there is still much to accomplish both in the classrooms and on the athletic fields. Keep working hard … finish #spstrong.

EVENING PRAYER

On this Memorial Day, we pray for the brave servicemen and women who gave their lives while protecting our freedoms. We honor their legacy with profound gratitude.

Let us pray,

“Today we bow our heads and are hearts to You, Lord,

that we may remember those who paid the ultimate price

by giving their lives for their country.

We can never be grateful enough for the sacrifices they made,

and we are humbled by their willingness to put their own lives aside

for the benefit of ours.

Father, carve their sacrifices into our hearts so we may never forget the loss of these heroes.

We pray for this in the Holy name of Your son Jesus, Amen.”

FINAL WORD

A shout out to St. Paul’s performing arts cast/crew and the boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams for the passion we witnessed last Thursday. It was an emotional and inspirational evening when our drama students went on stage live for the end of the recorded finale, even for a brief moment, and the lacrosse teams played for a league championship in front of an enthusiastic stands filled with students from both schools. For one night, it all seemed normal … the campus came alive reminding us of what we missed this year but providing hope for what will be next year!

Keep it up … stay vigilant, don’t let our guard down … let’s stay in school to the end.

It takes all of us, all of the time!

MASK UP – WASH HANDS – KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

Make it a great week … take care of yourself and each other!

St. Paul, pray for us!
