Algebra Bootcamp

Entering Grades 10, 11, or 12* - St. Paul Students Only.

This week-long refresher is for those students about to take Algebra II. Mr. Landin will review skills introduced in Algebra I which often lay dormant during a year in Geometry. Topics range from a quick review of pre-algebra skills like operations with signed numbers and order of operations to equations of lines and factoring trinomial expressions. The skills will also serve as a preparation for those questions on the PSAT and SAT called “The Heart of Algebra.” There is no textbook, but students will be expected to bring iPads and graphing calculators daily.
