SUNDAY EVENING NEWS

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.

Peace & Greetings,

Trust you and your family are well. A milestone week ahead. Our seniors last instructional day is this Thursday. It doesn’t seem possible that it’s been four years since they arrived on our campus to begin their high school journey. While there have been a few unforeseen hurdles (that’s putting it mildly) along the way, they have persevered leaving their mark in the classroom and beyond and are quickly approaching their celebratory graduation day. We are grateful for the gifts they have given us and pray that God sends them into the next chapter of their lives with His love and peace.

EVENING PRAYER

This is Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of the Church when the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles, causing them to speak in tongues. So, let us pray,

Come Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them
the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God who by the light of the Holy Spirit,
did instruct the hearts of the faithful,
grant that by the same Holy Spirit
we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations,
through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
