The Mum-A-Thon road race, entering its 50th year. It is also the final event of the Mum festival!

We have a non-competitive 1 mile race, the Monster Mile!

This year the 8-mile race returns to compliment the 8K. The 8 Mile event has a cash purse of $600.00.

These events take place in the northwest section of Bristol, all of which are Halloween themed.  All the running events begin and ends at
St. Paul Catholic High School 1001 Stafford Ave. Bristol CT.

About this Event

When: Friday, August 16, 2019. The race starts at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Starts & ends at St. Paul Catholic High School, 1001 Stafford Avenue, Bristol, CT

Hosted by St. Paul Catholic High School the Falcon 5K is a great community road race that is casual and enjoyable for all levels of ability. Run, jog or walk this flat, fast and simple to navigate course. Proceeds will benefit the St. Paul Catholic High School Reverend Edmund O’Brien Scholarship Fund and the Michael Walsh ‘07 Scholarship Fund. All the post-race activities make participating this event a great way to start the weekend.

Race Highlights
Flat, fast and simple to navigate course.
Plenty of free parking.
Volunteers on the race course to assure your safety.
Water provided at the half way point.
Lively music as you cross the finish line.
Falcon 5K t-shirts for those who are pre-registered by August 9 then while supplies last on race day.
Post-race food and refreshments.

Race Day Registration IS available. Please make sure to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 for same-day registration.

2019 Archdiocesan Summa Scholars

The Archdiocesan Summa Scholar Award dinner was held April 29. These Summa Scholars represents the top 5% of his/her graduating class in terms of outstanding academic achievement from freshman year to the close of the first semester senior year, based on the cumulative grade point average (GPA). Each honored student selects one teacher from a Catholic elementary or secondary school in the Archdiocese of Hartford to be recognized. Congratulations to ALL!

Class of 2019 – Valedictorian & Salutatorian Announced

Class of 2019 Commencement will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford at 6:00 p.m.

 

Jordan Rinaldi was named Valedictorian of St. Paul Catholic High School, Class of 2019. Jordan will attend Georgetown University in the Fall where he will study Math majoring in Stats and Data Analytics. He is the son of proud parents, Karen and Dennis Rinaldi of Southington.

 

 

 

 

Hannah Mulcahy has been named Salutatorian of St. Paul Catholic High School, Class of 2019. Hannah will attend UCONN’s Pre-Med program in the Fall. Proud parents are Janet and Daniel Mulcahy of Bristol.

 

 

 

The top 10 Senior Scholars for the Class of 2019 were recognized the evening of Academic Awards night at SPCHS. They were presented with a medal they will wear to graduation. Walk-a-thon – GOAL MET!

Walk-a-thon 2018 Goal was met!

Congratulations to all of our students, faculty and staff! The school-wide goal of $25,000 was met with a total of $25,211.04 raised. This fundraiser helps our school and everyone has now earned Superbowl Monday off!
