#StriveForExcellence

Faith Feature

On September 25, our Seniors went on their last St. Paul class retreat to Holy Family Retreat House in West Hartford. We were blessed to be led through the morning by Sam and Kristin Todzia who operate Red Barn Ministries.

Gifted at youth ministry, Sam served here at St. Paul for several years in the Religion Department. The focus of the morning was holiness and excellence, especially in relationships.

Later in the morning we were joined by our chaplain, Father Daniel who celebrated Mass with and for us and then joined us for lunch. Participants described the experience as fun, energizing, and inspirational.

We extend our thanks to Sam and Kristin for taking time out of their day to be with us, and we pray for you as you await the arrival of your new baby!

Academics & School Counseling

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for
Wednesday, October 16
AND Thursday, October 17
from 1:00pm – 5:00pm each day

To sign up for parent/teacher conference please click HERE.

Please discuss with your child(ren) their schedule, teachers, and academic standings in each of their classes.

Appointments are for 10 minutes each teacher.

If your child(ren) has the same teacher for multiple classes, please only choose one time slot and the teacher will discuss both classes with you at that time.

As you can imagine, there is not a sufficient amount of time for every teacher to visit at length with every parent. Should you need additional time, please email the teacher directly.

Our school counselors, Mrs. Priemer and Ms. Coard will also be available to meet.

***Please note - Wednesday, 10/16 and 10/17 students will be dismissed at noon and buses will run. On Thursday, 10/17 juniors and sophomores will take the PSATs and Freshmen will have an in-house retreat. Seniors will be off this day. This is a great day to visit colleges or complete college applications.

School Counseling

PARENTS - BROWN BAG LUNCH: The School Counseling Department is setting up dates for our Brown Bag Lunch career panel series! If you are not sure what that is, our Brown Bag Lunch series is a great career exploration option for our students. They hear about careers they may be interested in, but we need your help. We need St. Paul parents on the panel to discuss their job, their path to their career, give our students an overview of what they do and finish with a Q&A from students.

We are hoping we can find volunteers for these panels that are happening monthly from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm throughout the year based on career clusters.

November 14th: Public Safety, Corrections & Security
December 12th: Architecture, Construction and Engineering
January 9th: Health Sciences
