Tuition Assistance

St Paul Catholic High School uses an independent consultant, FACTS Grant & Aid, to evaluate financial need.  Anyone who wishes to be considered for tuition assistance must submit an application to FACTS Grant & Aid.  The deadline for applying for the 2017-2018 academic year will be February 10, 2017.  Need-based tuition assistance is not renewable from year to year.  An application must be submitted each year to be considered for financial aid for the following academic year. 2017-2018 financial aid will be based on income in 2016.  The online application fee is $27.

Click here for information about documentation needed for the FACTS Grant & Aid application, which includes a copy of your 2015 Federal Income Tax return and copies of all 2016 W-2’s, 1099’s and 1098’s, for all adults who reside in the same household as the student. In cases of divorce, both parents must apply for financial aid and supply financial documents. If you occupy separate households, each parent should complete a separate application.

The application can be started in December, and documentation should be submitted as it becomes available.  By law employers must mail W-2 and 1099 forms by January 31.   These are required supporting documents. For self-employed individuals or those who are not required to file a tax return, please see the information from FACTS.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf format online. Those who do not complete the application by February 10, 2017 risk not receiving aid, since the available funds will be allocated first to those qualified applicants who have submitted their applications and supporting documents on time.  Award announcements will be mailed out in late March or early April.
