Amazing Day with Bristol Catholic Elementary Schools

January 24, 2020 - 10:06 am

The day began with our students welcoming St. Joseph School and St. Matthew School K-8th grade students to St. Paul.

Walking to church to celebrate mass together was cold but fun!

Celebrating Mass with all the lights, cameras, and favorite people on the altar was mesmerizing.

Back to St. Paul for lunch and Stella’s Cookies.

After lunch, a few fun activities with all the students getting to know each other.

At the end of the day, we joined together for a quick presentation of the day, which St. Paul students documented all day and put together.

Thank you to ORTV, the Archdiocese of Hartford, St. Joseph and St. Matthew schools and all our Faculty and Staff for making this such a fun and meaningful day for the young generations!

Post on Facebook from The Archdiocese of Hartford 1/28/20 — Yesterday was the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. To get this special week off to a great start, the Catholic schools in Bristol, St. Joseph and St. Matthew Elementary Schools and St. Paul Catholic High School, participated in a morning Mass at St. Gregory the Great Church. The St. John’s Bible from the Mass on Sunday was still in the sanctuary, allowing some to view this beautiful work. Father Hector Rangel, Chaplain of St. Paul Catholic High School, was the principal celebrant and homilist. The following priests concelebrated: Monsignor Gary Simeone; Fathers John Gatzak, Ivan Ramirez, John Pahl, John Dietrich, and Edward Przygocki, MSA. Deacon Stanley Piotrowski also assisted.
