From one of the most respected high school theatre programs in Connecticut, St. Paul Performing Arts is offering an intensive 5-day, 6 hour, Musical Theatre Workshop. It’s an intensive program dedicated to the serious musical theatre student.
Students will learn all aspects of song preparation as it pertains to Broadway Musical repertoire, including basics in proper vocal and singing techniques, musical stylings, and acting the song.
Students will work on solo material, group singing and choreography to become a triple threat performer.
Receive professional theatre training by working with and learning from renowned, distinguished faculty and award-winning Broadway guest artists.
At the end of the one week session, students will be involved in a final performance which will be filled with Broadway songs and solos. Through this workshop, students will make new friends and learn a lifetime of theatrical skills and techniques.
The founder of St. Paul Performing Arts is Emmy®Award Winning Director, and two-time Tony®Award Nominee for the Excellence in Theatre Education Award, Mark Mazzarella, who is celebrating his 10th year as Artistic Director.
